Gathering Voices (www.fb.com/gatheringvoices), the charity behind the Bristol Festival of Song (www.fb.com/festivalofsong) started SoulRoots Acappella in the Autumn of 2012 - an exciting female voice project for adults! A vocal group for female voices (choir) that exemplifies a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed style of singing and performance that will engage and inspire audiences. In addition

to learning beautiful songs and having fun, singers will also learn a great deal about healthy and effective vocal techniques. SoulRoots features songs of passion, power and soul and the repertoire focuses on both old and new style Gospel/Blues, but also includes evocative songs from other cultures. SoulRoots is looking for singers who wish to fully explore their voices and experience a dynamic, soulful and expressive style of acappella singing and performance. SoulRoots is run by:

Starting tonight (21 Sept) SoulRoots rehearses on Thursdays from 7-9pm at Factory 8 in Southville.

First session free and then £80 (£60 conc) per 10 week term.
