A moment we will never forget.

In 2011, we had the honour of welcoming Asha Bhosle to The Asian Awards, where she received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

What most people didn’t see was what happened behind the scenes.

For three months, our team worked relentlessly to make something truly special happen. Every record, every song, every milestone was carefully researched, verified and compiled… all to secure a Guinness World Record worthy of her extraordinary career.

It wasn’t easy. But it was necessary.

Because when you’re dealing with a legacy of this magnitude, you don’t cut corners.

That night, on our stage, we presented her with a Guinness World Record… a moment that reflected not just her brilliance, but the respect she deserved.

A career that defined generations.
A voice that shaped history.

Rest in peace to one of the greatest to ever do it.

Firstly, we sincerely hope that you, your family and your loved ones are safe and well.

The safety, security, well-being of our guests, clients and partners are always our number one priority. With that in mind we wanted to provide an update on the 10th Asian Awards.

Back in September 2019 we decided, given it is our 10th year of The Asian Awards, we would like to revert back to holding them in the winter as we did year our first two awards (2010, 2011). This would also have allowed us the extra time to put on a truly great celebration. Therefore the 10th awards were moved to October/November 2020.

Government guidelines allowing it is our desire to hold the awards as planned in winter 2020 but if this proves unfeasible then we will hold the 10th Asian Awards in April 2021. We are working with all our partners to explore both options and we hope to be in a position to confirm the date soon.

We are continually monitoring the situation to ensure we are prepared for the challenges we may face in the coming weeks and months. We are closely following the advice of the Government / Public Health England, and the safety of our guests & partners remain our top priority.

We thank you for your patience, support and understanding during this time and hope to see you all again soon.

We are devastated to hear about the passing of our past Asian Awards honouree, Mr Irrfan Khan. He was an incredibly rare actor who's appeal was marked throughout the world. May he rest in peace.....🙏
