Chilly Dippers – a new, friendly series of Winter swimming events in the Cotswold Water Park
Winter swimming is growing in popularity, will you give it a go this winter? South West Swim has teamed up with Waterland Outdoor Pursuits to bring you something new this winter season, the Chilly Dipper series of events. We want to encourage swimmers into the water and will be holding a planned series of

4 events on November 14th,December 19th, January 23rd and February 27th. Unlike some other winter swimming events the course will be buoyed (in and out, rather than lanes) and you can swim wetsuit or non wetsuit, you can even wear a funny hat (25m race). A swim cap, medal, swim time and a hot soup and roll will await you at the finish of your event and is all part of the ticket price, as is full on water kayak safety cover. Distances on offer will be 25m, 50m, 100m and for the experienced swimmers only* a 400m challenge. We hope to make the events a big social occasion with like minded swimmers, or those trying it out for the first time (or winter) and becoming a permanent fixture on the local events calendar.
