Crossing the finish line!

WE’VE DONE IT!!

We are so proud to announce that we have smashed through the 2 million mark and notched up nearly 2,005,000 steps in one month, an average of 334,000 steps per stepper!

It’s been challenging at times, but we are so proud to have stuck to it and raise much needed awareness and funds for Cure Parkinson’s, a wonderful charity. Thank you so much to those who supported us along the way.

And what a treat to be greeted by The Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss as we crossed the finish line! It was lovely to meet him and members of the Cure Parkinson’s team as we finished our challenge.

**STOP PRESS!!**

We have crashed through the 1 million steps target!

This morning’s meeting was a tremendously exciting one, as not only were we joined by members of the Cure Parkinson’s team, but we are thrilled to announce that between us, we have already reached the 1 million step target!

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT ALONG THE WAY 💙

Sure, it hasn’t been easy, but our team is made of stern stuff.

With 480 years between the six of us, we have lived through good times and tough times, and we are now unwavering in our dedication to this cause. Step on!

A great team meeting this morning, and the first for our sixth member, Leena Inkinen.

It was fantastic to come together and realise how much we’ve achieved already… it is only day 6 and we have collectively walked well over 250,000 steps… amazing! We are overwhelmingly pleased with our progress so far. 😊

Hello! Welcome to our page.

We, five friends from Hertfordshire are collectively walking a million steps in the month of May to raise funds for Cure Parkinson's, a wonderful charity aiming to find treatments that will slow, stop or reverse the condition.

This will certainly be a challenge, but we have our fit bits ready and lots of determination to keep us going!
