Huge thank you to Old Hall Brass Band for a wonderful concert at Chorley URC, Saturday evening.

Wonderful evening appreciated by a near full house. Will definitely look out for future events and concerts.

There will be a bit of a break now as we reorder some of the rooms in the Hollinshead Centre and the Church. Look out for future events when the work is concluded.

Just a few days to go until the Rivington and Adlington Brass Band Concert.

Saturday 6th December 7:30 pm at Chorley United Reformed Church.

A few tickets are still available and there is a pay on the door if you have reserved a ticket or would like to come along anyway.

This is an excellent local band and we are expecting a really good evening.

Usual range of refreshments (tea, coffee, decaf, biscuits cake) and now including a bar.

Great fun last night. It was Charles the local cinema owner who murdered Stan in a dispute over a property sale. Congratulations to the winning team, and we all had fun interviewing the suspects having a short break for a hotpot supper washed down with selections from the bar.

So, there are some big questions in life, so let's relax a bit and deal with some smaller ones.

First, have you got your ticket(s) to the Curry and Quiz night, 9th May at Chorley UR Church, 7:00 pm.

Then there are some smaller, but still important questions, like which curry do I fancy; Chicken, Squash, Fish (Salmon and prawn) and may be more or may be you don't like curry, in which case the chicken chasseur could be a better choice.

Be there or you will miss it.
