Remember the joy our Christmas lights brought to Ongar High Street in 2024? We want to make that happen again this year!

Those twinkling lampposts created such a special atmosphere during the darker months – bringing smiles to faces, that warm festive feeling we all cherish, and encouraging people to visit our wonderful local businesses.

More footfall on the High Street means more support for our independent shops, cafés, and restaurants. Your donation – whether it's £5, £10, or whatever you can spare – directly supports our local economy and the small businesses that make Ongar special.

🎄✨ STALL HOLDERS WANTED! ✨🎄
The magic of Christmas is coming to Ongar and we need YOU to make it sparkle! ⭐

We’re seeking fantastic Christmassy stalls for our Christmas Festival & Lights on Sunday 30th November - the perfect opportunity to showcase your festive goods to our wonderful community!

🏪 Limited spaces available - both indoor & outdoor pitches
🎁 Christmas-themed stalls welcome - get creative with your festive offerings!
❌ Food & drink stalls covered - we’ve got the refreshments sorted!

Priority goes to:
✅ Previous event stallholders
✅ Unique offerings (we avoid duplicates where possible)

🎄 ONGAR CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 2025 🎄 PLEASE SHARE!
It's that time again for us all to come together and light up Ongar this Christmas!

📅 Date set: Sunday 30th November

Our main mission is to raise £15k again for the lights! We've purchased new lights for one side of the high street - you may have noticed the difference in quality. We want the same for the other side and then the lamp posts again.

💡 How you can help:

•⁠ ⁠Sponsorship packages available (if you know anyone with deep pockets!)
•⁠ ⁠Organise a fundraiser - we're happy to support where we can

🔧 Getting involved:
We'll be gathering the troops on 15th November to get the lights up!
