📢 Important update – The CLA Barrel Jumping Challenge 🛢️🐴

With competitors’ safety and horse welfare our priority, we’ve made the decision to change our Chase Me Charlie class to a Barrel Jumping Challenge due to the ground conditions.

The format will still test your nerve and skill – instead of raising a pole, the barrels will keep getting less and less until only one combination remains!

🐴 A fun, exciting challenge for horse and rider
🎉 One of the most entertaining classes of the day

Come along, have a go, and see if you can be the last one standing!

Come along and support us, and charities, such as Wiltshire Air Ambulance, on Saturday.

Last year the Somerford Show and Tractor Run donated over £4000 to the British Heart Foundation and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The show is a ‘not for profit’ organisation run by volunteers and all proceeds go to local and National charities. Thank you to everyone who supports and attends the show as this enables the show to continue and us to support good causes. We hope to see you at the Show this weekend.

🚨 Good news for our Hunter competitors! 🚨

We’ve relocated the Hunter Ring onto aerated ground, giving much better going for horses and riders.

So if you’ve been waiting to enter, now’s the time! Entries are still open, with entries on the day also available (subject to the usual £2 late entry fee).

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Somerford Show Horse Section this Saturday. 🐴🌿
