Liz works with vintage and reclaimed fabrics. Her work is rooted in a connection to the natural world, shaped by time and weather. She uses a blend of appliqué, machine embroidery, and hand stitching, to build tactile surfaces.

Living in the Peak District and being a passionate gardener gives me year round inspiration for painting and embroidery.  Using fabric, threads and fabric paints I freely interpret areas and items that give me the urgent need for action.  It is the same with painting.  I enjoy both.
