Chester Regatta a cooperative effort by all the Chester rowing clubs, GRC, RCRC, QPHSRC, KSCBC, REX & Uni of Chester. Run entirely by volunteers, including the umpires, our aim is to provide a fun, exciting regatta on the splendid river Dee, one of the very best rivers to row on. Free to spectators. s boats. Chester Regatta offers side-by-side racing taking place over 750m between Et Italia (“The Red House”) and the Earl's Eye. All competitors must park at Bishops High School on Vaughans Lane (CH3 5XF) only 5 minutes walk to the Regatta Ground through a pedestrian / cycle path, see map on our website. Please do not park in Walmoor Park on pain of death. Depending on entries, racing will start around 9am and end around 6pm. The main Prize Giving with the Lord Mayor of Chester as Admiral of the Dee starts at 4pm.
