IMPORTANT UPDATE ON PARKING.
Please note that there is a change in Parking arrangements. We are no longer using the Horse Sanctuary on Picton Gorse Lane. Parking will be split between the Cheshire County Sports Club on Plas Newton Lane CH2 1PR, St Columba Church on Plas Newton Lane CH2 1SA and Chester University Campus on Kingsway CH2 2LB. Parking is limited at the Sports Club so you may be directed to one of the other sites. Please note that it is a 10 min walk from the Church and University to Race HQ. Also the University Campus car park is locked at 10pm. Please car share where possible to avoid unnecessary congestion.
There is NO parking for runners on Mannings Lane or the playing fields area where the race Start/Finish are.(Parking at the playing fields area is reserved for the other sports club users) Mannings Lane is a narrow road and also part of the course. Parking on it will impede the start and finish of the race and create a safety hazard. When crossing the A41 from the County sports club (and direction of other car parks) please use the footbridge over the A41.
