The festival is commissioned by (and raises funds for) The Green Gathering charity, which promotes education for sustainability via hands-on interactive learning and the arts. Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

HEATHENS ALL - JOHN E'ARRIS TRIBUTE
Formed in the early 90’s through belief in the power of music to inspire and unite, the Heathens. were part of the soundtrack to a subcultiure disenchanted with mainstream capitalist culture. They played protests, festivals and sacred sites in response to the need for change. The oldest member of the band, John E Aris, died earlier this year. Heathens All will be celebrating his life with us - a one off occasion and a gig to remember.

Join our friendly cocktail bar crew and get 4 hours of professional bar training on Wednesday afternoon – a great skill for future bar work.

In exchange for 24 hours of volunteering, you'll receive:
🎟️ Your festival ticket
🍽️ Meals from Wednesday dinner to Sunday dinner
🏕️ Crew camping

You must be 18+ and available onsite from Wednesday 29 July afternoon (in time for training and camp setup) until the end of your final shift on Sunday 2 August.

These pages are taken from last year's festival programme and give a flavour of the incredible variety of experiences happening across the site throughout Green Gathering.

From live music, spoken word and performance, to practical workshops, crafts, wellbeing sessions, talks, debates and family activities, there's always far more going on than we could ever fit into a single social media post. Four days of Green Gathering means four days absolutely rammed with things to discover, learn, create, enjoy and get involved in.

The programme is designed to help you make the most of your festival. As well as timetables, it includes site maps, area guides, artist and speaker information, workshop listings, and plenty of useful details to help you find your way around.

Every Green Gathering is different, so the 2026 programme will have its own unique line-up and content. But if you've ever wondered just how much there is to discover at the festival, these pages from 2025 offer a little insight.
