Makes Sense!

Well, now everything is packed away, washed, I've slept quite a bit we can reflect on a fantastic event. What a weekend at GVB Charity Match .
Thanks to Linear Fisheries Official, and all of the companies and people that donated to our raffle which raised over £900.00.
In total the event raised over 10K. Stuart Leake being the highest sponsorship with £5K. Our captains Jamie Farr & Becky Sharman led their teams admirably and we saw strategic placements of anglers in certain pegs with only a 5lb 7oz weight difference with the girls to take the trophy 🏆. The had.0
Michael Litton for his great BBQ and banter as usual 👌
Miranda Brown for her excellent organisation skills as well as an angler. Scott Grimes for his excellent adjudication and being head marshall and the only Marshall.
We are now going to book next year and opening up the books for you to pay a deposit to secure your places GVB 2025. This is really an event you need to be part of...
Thanks to you the anglers, as without you we can't do a thing. You should be very proud. We are.

Not long now. Setting off for Linear Fisheries Official in the morning to set up the GVB Charity Match . Games and raffle at 2pm if anyone wants to pop over and of course Michael Litton will be cooking up a storm on the BBQ.

Last year's GVB Charity Match saw the legend Joe Turnbull donate his time, bait and syndicate for a day's tutorial and Eleanor had a smashing time. Thanks to both for raising funds for charity as part of Carping4Charity Events. Michael Litton
