🚨 Exciting News from CDFC! 🚨

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new Girls’ Football Pathway at CDFC – starting with our Year 1 & Year 2 Wildcats Girls’ Teams! ⚽🐾

As part of our commitment to growing girls' football at the club, we’re introducing weekly Wildcats sessions to give young girls a fun, friendly, and inclusive start to their football journey.

💫 Who’s it for?
All girls entering Year 1 & Year 2

📅 When?
Every Monday night, 6–7pm, starting Monday 14th July

📍 Where?
At our home ground – Spital Park

This is just the beginning! As these wildcats Year 2 girls move into Year 3, they’ll form their very own team, continuing their journey through the CDFC girls' pathway.

Our goal is simple: to give every girl the chance to play, develop, and enjoy football in a supportive club environment from the very start. ⚽🖤🤍

✨ Whether your daughter is new to football or already loves the game, we’d love to welcome her to the CDFC Wildcats family!

Club Chairman Richard "Ronnie" Astle-Burgoyne's final statement after departing the club after 6 years. The whole club would like to thank Ronnie for all his hard work over the years, he is truly a hero to many 💪🏻

"Castle Donington football club held its annual end of season event this weekend, another amazing day, topped off by an England victory. The club now enters a new era with a new Chairman, Grant Baker who I know will be supported by the amazing team of Managers, Coaches, and parent volunteers that are all a key part of the club. You have all been brilliant and are an absolute credit to the club, and our reputation across Grassroots Football grows with every season, something you should all be proud of.

The club is in a great place to expand into girls football and stepping on the senior teams as we continue to support the local community through all inclusive football..

It has been a privilege to be the Chairman of this great club for the last 6 year's, friends for life have been made at every age group, including myself and I look forward to continuing to support the club working with the senior side over the coming years.

Fantastic season - I am proud of you all and you should all be proud of yourselves and your team mates ⚽️ You have given everything you can this season and it has been hard at times, I think you are all brilliant and you deserve everything you have worked for this season, again like I have already said thank you for all your efforts this season it's been 1st class ladies ⚽️

Today's match results secured us a promotion back to division 1 on goal difference, 2022-2023 season we would welcome new players age 16+ esp a centre back and an out and out striker... please get in touch if you would like to join us in our division 1 journey ⚽️ we have a new coach and new manager for next season.

Away v Mickleover 2-0 to us, not as many goals as last weeks match v them but they did add 4 of their 1st team players to their team today. Georgia I ⚽️ Gav ⚽️ MOTH Anna. Keeper Katy.
