Introducing our events! This one is for our science, nature and non-fiction lovers!

Cal Flyn is joining us from Scotland, to talk about her new book ‘The Savage Landscape’ with Belfast based writer Paul Clements.

Cal’s last book ‘Islands of Abandonment’ was recently named in the Times top non-fiction books, and for good reason. It’s a fantastically readable, and fascinating, exploration of what happens to the landscape when humans move on, visiting places such as Chernobyl, Maine and Croatia.

‘The Savage Landscape’ (which Jo is reading currently and loving) is an exploration of the places we call wildernesses and the people who live in them.

This is Cal’s only Irish visit on her current tour, which includes the likes of the Edinburgh and Wigtown book festival, and we are so looking forward to it.

Join Cal Flyn in conversation about her new book 'The Savage Landscape', introduced by Paul Clements.
