PRO-TECT UK Security & Training Ltd are looking for a Mobile Response Officer, based in our Carlisle office you will be responsible for Locks / Unlocks / patrols / monitoring and responding to customer alarm activations. MUST HOLD CURRENT FULL UK DRIVERS / SIA LICENCE. TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN TO THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.

Friday 19th/ “Mad Friday” / “Black Eye Friday” marks the start of the festive season — but it’s also one of the busiest and most dangerous nights of the year for bar staff, door supervisors, and emergency services.

The people behind the bar and on the doors are there to keep everyone safe, not to spoil your night. Abuse, threats, or violence towards staff or other customers is never acceptable and will lead to removal, arrest, and possible prosecution. None of these people are employed to accept this, it should not be an “occupational hazard” CCTV and body-worn cameras are in use, and police are on high alert.

One bad decision can mean a criminal record, losing your job, and serious long-term effects on future employment and travel.

Please drink responsibly, respect staff decisions, look after your friends, and walk away from conflict. A taxi home is always cheaper than a court date.

Let’s make Black Eye Friday safe for everyone. Respect costs nothing — violence costs everything.

We regularly supply teams to Box Arena for all kind of events from Raves,Bare knuckle boxing right down to beer festivals and bonkers bingo type events.

HOUSE OF VODKA

“HOV” as it has become known is a key nightspot on Carlisle’s Botchergate and has hosted an array of well known DJ’s before the boys opened an event specific venue.
Still a popular nightspot to this day HOV is going on strong and we hope that continues.
New ventures havnt gotten in the way of the boys bringing the nightlife to Carlisle and we have a feeling they’re longevity will continue 🙇‍♂️

So that’s a wrap for solfest 2025!
We want to extend our gratitude for all of our staff involved.
As always you made us proud and we hope your not too crispy it was a scorcher was it not?
We would like to thank the solfest first timers we hope you enjoyed it and thank you all for the hours you put in.
Now for the PTUK Familiar Faces it wouldn’t happen without you guys, you all show great initiative and for the most part take no minding which helps our Duty Managers greatly. Solfest is and always has been a team effort and it doesn’t work any other way. All PTUK shine when they’re working as a team and it doesn’t go unnoticed so thank you all so much.
There is still a few of events to go so keep your eyes peeled John-Lee will be at you in due course 😁

Week 3 of Pro-Tect Proud to Provide!
And as fate would have it this week it’s Charlie Knights The Crescent Bar as they celebrate a decade of trading, which is amazing.
We’ve been providing the crescent bar since the get go and we are grateful for the relationship we have with them.
For a long period of time they have been provided with Brian who had an excellent relationship and rapport with both staff and customers,
And more recently after his retirement our Female DS Kim has taken over the reigns, who has become a welcome face at the crescent bar and has an excellent relationship with the staff both at work and outside.
These kind of relationships are valued at PTUK and are part of the reason for our longevity with both our staff and customers happy we’re not just a service provider we’re a team.
So thank you the crescent bar for welcoming Kim to you’re team and let’s make it another 10 years together!
