My daughter has been doing Taekwondo with Nicola Turecek Taekwondo for around six years now and she absolutely loves it. She’s made so many memories, has loads of fun and it’s been brilliant for her confidence too.
Nicola also runs Little Ninjas Taekwondo for ages 4–6, and the first lesson is FREE, so it’s a lovely chance for little ones to give it a go without any pressure. 🥋

A really lovely inclusive family event where you can take bikes, wheelchairs, adapted bikes, trikes, scooters or skates and do as much or as little of the route as you like, while supporting Rookwood.

🎪 NOFIT STATE CIRCUS: CARNATION – SOPHIA GARDENS
📅 Saturday & Sunday
World-class circus, live music and spectacular Big Top performances. NoFit State says there’s nothing in the show unsuitable for children, although it wasn’t created specifically as a children’s show.

Ok I know it’s only September 😂 but hear me out…

If talking about Christmas now saves us money on toys later, I’m doing it 🎄😂

I’ve started keeping an eye on the Christmas toy sales and some offers are already popping up, so I thought I’d start a little Cardiff Mums toy sale watch and update it as more places announce theirs.

At the moment:

🎁 ASDA Toy Rollback is on until 29 September and there are some really decent reductions.

🎁 Aldi has toys coming through in its Specialbuys already, so worth a look if you’re passing.

🎁 Argos has quite a few toy offers running too, including selected toys at up to 50% off and some multi-buy deals.

I’m going to keep watching Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Lidl, Smyths, B&M, Home Bargains and anywhere else that tends to do decent Christmas toy offers.

I’ll update when proper dates are confirmed because I don’t want to start sharing guessed dates and have everyone turning up to a sale that isn’t there 😂
