A new Charity - Norwegian Church Cardiff Bay (Registered Charity 1195926) - will reopen the Church to the public in Spring 2022. The relaunch will explain its rich history, be a focus for arts and crafts, and the local community and of course, include a café with a Norwegian twist.
We know there is an immense level of goodwill towards the Church and we are confident that many will want to help us make it come alive again.

Rydyn ni nawr dros 100 diwrnod i mewn i'r clo mawr.

Er bod yr amser hwn wedi cyflwyno digon o sialensiau, rydyn ni hefyd wedi ffeindio cyfleoedd ar gyfer creadigrwydd a thyfiant. Dyma'r rhai o'r pethau rydyn ni wedi gwneud hyd yn hyn...

From Monday, we could see a huge change in lockdown rules as the ‘stay local’ rule is set to be lifted.

With many people still furloughed or working from home and with more non-essential shops open, Cardiff is set to welcome an increased number of visitors to the city to make the most of the new rules after weeks of restrictions.

However, we want to remind all visitors that Cardiff does not tolerate littering.

People must take responsibility for their own waste. If the litter bin is full, please take your litter home with you to dispose of correctly.

Our advice is:

• Find a bin for your litter if you’re in a public place
• Take your rubbish home if you can’t find a bin or if the bin is full
• BBQs in public spaces aren’t currently advised by the Government, but our advice pre-lockdown was that they should be left on the concrete, near to bins for collection. They shouldn’t be left on the grass or placed inside bins as this is a fire hazard

The pandemic is not over and the council is using the resources available to us to ensure we can deliver the best possible services for the residents of Cardiff.

Please remember to take your litter home with you or dispose of it correctly. You could face a fine of £100 for littering. Find out more here: http://orlo.uk/Q90eB

O ddydd Llun, mae’n bosib y gwelwn newid mawr yn y cyfyngiadau cloi wrth i’r rheol ‘aros yn lleol’ gael ei chodi.

Gyda chymaint o bobl ar gyfnod ffyrlo neu’n gweithio gartref a mwy o siopau nad ydynt yn rhai hanfodol yn agor, mae disgwyl i Gaerdydd groesawu nifer gynyddol o ymwelwyr yn y ddinas er mwyn gwneud y mwyaf o’r rheolau newydd wedi wythnosau o gyfyngiadau.

Fodd bynnag, rydym am atgoffa pob ymwelydd nad yw Caerdydd yn goddef sbwriela.

Rhaid i bobl gymryd cyfrifoldeb dros eu gwastraff eu hunain. Os yw'r bin sbwriel yn llawn, ewch â'ch sbwriel adref gyda chi i gael gwared arno'n gywir.

Ein cyngor ni yw:

• Dod o hyd i bin neu bwynt ailgylchu ar gyfer eich sbwriel os ydych mewn man cyhoeddus
• Ewch â'ch sbwriel adref os na allwch ddod o hyd i fin neu os yw'r bin yn llawn
• Dydy’r Llywodraeth ddim yn argymell cael barbeciws mewn mannau cyhoeddus ar hy no bryd, ond ein cyngor cyn y cyfnod cloi oedd y dylid eu gadael nhw ar y concrit, wrth ymyl y biniau, i’w casglu. Ddylen nhw ddim cael eu gadael ar y glaswellt nac yn y biniau achos mae hyn yn berygl tân.

Nid yw'r pandemig ar ben ac mae'r Cyngor yn defnyddio'r adnoddau sydd ar gael i ni i sicrhau y gallwn ddarparu'r gwasanaethau gorau posibl ar gyfer trigolion Caerdydd.

Cofiwch fynd â’ch sbwriel adref neu gael gwared arno’n gywir. Gallech gael dirwy o £100 am adael sbwriel.
