Happy to all female past and future ocean rowers! And a special mention to our fellow World's Toughest Row fleet.

This one is for all of you who squeezed in the training no matter how busy life was.

Who sacrificed time with family and friends to meet campaign demands.

Who embraced their children on the pontoon in Antigua.

Who managed and took time away from busy careers to pursue much-needed adventure.

Who overcame myriad challenges in an unforgiving environment.

Who looked after one another in their darkest moments and raised each other up.

Who built relationships that will last a lifetime.

Who inspired the next generation of women and girls to push their limits and to know they CAN.

Who shouted about their passion for so many worthy causes.

Who broke race and world records.

And finally, who supported and pushed us to keep going every single day.

Let's not forget all the women and girls who surrounded us with love and support to take on and complete this amazing adventure. To the team managers, the social media managers, the PTs, the weather routers, the WTR team, our families, and everyone who was there to wave goodbye to and welcome home the rowers, THANK YOU! 💙

Before and after shots!

We all left a bit of ourselves out in the ocean and will never be the same again. Some of the ways in which we've changed will have been immediately noticeable, while others may take a while to fully appreciate. We're still reflecting on the enormous World's Toughest Row we've undertaken and enjoying telling our stories

Some of our immediate thoughts upon seeing these headshots:

Laura: 'I will eat you for breakfast...alive!'

Lizz: 'Yes, I rowed through a squall to get here. Does it show?'

Kit: 'I tried to negotiate sleep for 47 days!'

An Ace of Blades SEA SHANTY!

How awesome is this! The Navy Larks sea shanty group from Salisbury wrote and performed this amazing tune!

The support received during the race was incredible and hearing this when we were only a couple of weeks away from the finish was amazing!

THE FINAL APPROACH

First, outside the harbour where the sea was rough and the waves were smashing against the rocks, we were met by the media boat, full of friendly faces from the Atlantic Campaigns team. And boy were we pleased to see them!

Then, under Kyle's fantastic guidance, we rounded the headland and got our first glimpse of English Harbour. After 47 days of nothing but open ocean, the feeling of seeing that calm, serene bay is indescribable. It was beautiful and peaceful, and even with 200m still to go to the finish line the feeling of elation was huge.

With the sound of our families and friends screaming and cheering from the fort, as we crossed the finish line we were finally able to put down the oars and give one another some well-deserved hugs. After three years of planning, preparation and implementation, WE HAD DONE IT!
