We’re delighted by the response — thank you to everyone who booked early.

Llandaf Festival 2026 returns with a vibrant programme of twenty-six events, bringing together choral music, chamber performance, musical theatre, talks and community events across Llandaff and beyond.

This year’s music highlights include:

-The Opening Concert with Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society, featuring William Mathias’s Let the People Praise Thee, two world premieres, and the Welsh premiere of David Briggs’s arrangement of Belshazzar’s Feast.

-The Vita Quartet at Insole Court, showcasing emerging talent in an intimate chamber setting.

-Sacred Showstoppers, an uplifting evening of musical theatre with West End vocalists and musicians.

-Cymru’n Canu, celebrating some of Wales’s finest choral voices, including Côr Bois Glantaf, Côr Merched Plasaf, and soprano Jessica Robinson.

-The Gala Concert, The Very Model of a Musical Evening, featuring a nearly 100-voice chorus and a joyful Gilbert & Sullivan celebration.

The Llandaf Festival sends its very best wishes to Côr Bois Glantaf Boys Choir as they head into the semi- finals of Britain’s Got Talent this weekend!

We are incredibly proud to see this outstanding local choir representing Wales on such a huge stage. Their talent, energy, and dedication have already captured hearts across the country—whatever the outcome, they’ve achieved something truly special.

As you explore the Sustainable Craft Fair during the Cathedral’s Green Weekend, take time to relax in the Lady Chapel and enjoy an afternoon of live music alongside our pop-up café, serving hot drinks and homemade cake ☕🍰

Do you love to sing?

We are excited to share that we are opening applications for people to join our Festival Chorus at the 2026 Festival with rehearsals starting on the 24th May. This year our Gala Concert on Saturday 4 July at 7pm is entitled The Very Model of a Musical Evening and features music and words from that most beloved of duos, Gilbert & Sullivan.

Festival Chorus is an unauditioned choir of around 80 people that come together every year for 6 rehearsals before performing the Gala Concert of the Llandaff Festival.
