Announcing… Dean Nicholson 💫

We’re absolutely buzzing to share that Dean will be joining Tommy Gale for a very special B2B trance set to close out this year’s Summerfest on Sunday evening.

If you know Dean, you’ll already know exactly why we’re so excited about this. Whether he’s behind the decks or out supporting the incredible dance nights our scene has to offer, Dean brings nothing but positivity, energy and good vibes wherever he goes. He’s genuinely one of the loveliest people you could meet and on top of that, an unbelievably talented DJ.

From uplifting trance to old school classics, breaks, jungle and garage, Dean knows exactly how to create those special moments on a dancefloor. Seeing him and Tommy bouncing off each other behind the decks as the sun goes down on Summerfest is going to be something really special.

AKON SECURITY will be back to keep everyone safe at Summerfest this summer.

Last year’s team were outstanding. They were professional, approachable and always one step ahead. It was clear they weren’t just reacting to situations, but actively keeping an eye on things before they became issues. That kind of awareness makes a huge difference.

At Summerfest, we put a lot of thought into every part of the experience and security plays a vital role in that. We want everyone to leave feeling the whole event was well run, safe and enjoyable from start to finish.

We’re lucky to have such a friendly, family-focused crowd, so there’s rarely much for security to deal with, but the team stayed switched on throughout and couldn’t have been more professional.

We’re delighted to have them back, and we’re especially looking forward to seeing “Snake Hips” Rix and those legendary dance moves again.

Announcing… Callum Williamson 🎧

Some announcements mean a little bit more… and this is one of them.

Callum is 16 years old and has been coming along to the Sparklepants DJ School each week, sessions run by the same team behind Summerfest. From the very beginning, he’s shown something special. Not just talent, but real passion.

Week by week, we’ve watched his confidence grow. He’s been taking one of our controllers home to practice, putting in the hours, refining his sound and developing a brilliant ear for House music. The kind of dedication that’s impossible to teach, it has to come from within.

And that’s why this moment matters.

At Summerfest, we’ve always believed in giving young people a platform, a chance to step up, be seen, and be heard. So it felt only right that we do that for someone who’s been part of our own journey too.

We’re incredibly proud to say that Callum will be playing his very own set on Friday afternoon at Summerfest.

This isn’t just a booking, it’s a milestone. A first step onto a big stage, and the start of something exciting.

Callum is a genuinely great lad, and it’s been a privilege to watch his love for music grow. We’re so proud to play a small part in his journey.

Well done, Callum, this is just the beginning. ❤️

Wholesome Hub are back… and we couldn’t be happier!

Who knew you could get such incredible food from a horse box? The dishes Emma and Hassan served up last year were absolutely delicious and we are genuinely thrilled to welcome them back to Summerfest once again.

Hassan was on site for most of the week in the run-up to the festival as he came straight from another event, so we had plenty of time to get to know both him and Emma and it quickly became clear just how much heart and passion they pour into their food. That same passion runs through all of our food vendors and it’s something we’re really proud of.

We’ll say it now… you won’t eat a bad meal at Summerfest. Every trader brings something special and they all offer great value too. Yes, we might be a little biased, but hand on heart, we’ve never eaten as well at another festival.

Take a look at the photos of the amazing dishes Wholesome Hub created and the menus they put together for us last year… it’ll give you a taste of what’s to come. And trust us, if you try their food, you’ll be very glad you did!

We’re also secretly hoping that Pash the festival dog will be making a return appearance with them as he was a bit of a star in his own right.

Emma and Hassan are not just a fantastic food team, they’re truly lovely people and we feel very lucky to have them as part of the Summerfest family. ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who has already bought tickets. We genuinely can’t believe how well they’ve sold this year, especially when we know it’s been a tough time for many events. Your support means the world to us and to the charities we’re raising money for. ❤️
