Step back in time this weekend with the return of Canterbury's Medieval Pageant!
Saturday 5th July is the 10th anniversary of the famous pageant, and there will be revelry throughout the city centre with the colourful parade, a huge family trail and plenty of free things to see and do for the whole family!

A huge shoutout to the brilliant 14th Canterbury Scout Group, who joined us this week to create their outfits for Saturday’s Medieval Pageant Parade — don’t they look amazing?

They’ll be marching through the city in style, so come along and cheer them on!

The Beaney is happy to be one of the stops on the always popular Medieval Pageant Family Trail this Saturday.

🎲Drop by The Beaney to take part in medieval games, wheat weaving
and calligraphy (receive your Pilgrim Shell name!)

Activities are organised and delivered by the Rough Musicke team.

💡 Spotlight Talk - Thomas Becket

There will also be a special Spotlight Talk with the museum Front of House team. Explore Canterbury’s Medieval heritage, handle some real Pilgrim Badges from the 12th Century and hear about the life, legacy of Thomas Becket through artefacts and artworks.
