WE ARE SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE LANA AS OUR HEADLINER FOR THIS YEAR’S EVENT … CAN YOU TELL?!? 🤪🥳🤩🤭🪩

No but seriously, we are delighted to have the talented Lana (who is a cantab) on our main stage at MEGP to bring the vibes together 😎👑💗

About Lana:

Cairo newcomer Lana burst into the scene with a performance at Sandbox Festival this year. Self-proclaimed “conjuror of the vibes,” her selections are a cocktail of the sounds she grew up with in her hometown London: from UK Funky, Garage and ghetto house, to Jersey Club, Baile Funk and Dancehall — anything sexy and high-energy goes.

Lana made her start in music as a radio DJ and presenter, with guest sets on London-based Voices Radio and Netil Radio, as well as Radio Al Hara, and Berlin's Refuge Worldwide. A senior writer at SceneNoise, Lana has come to be a regional music devotee, and her sets are sprinkled with Arab nostalgia and tracks that reflect her Kurdish heritage.
