Sunday night was our ticket only preview night. We had soooo much fun and the bonus - this made us the UK's only 7-day real ale festival (probably). Here are some of the photos from around the event.

We’ve got the amazing CBSoul taking the stage tonight and keeping us entertained! 🎤🔥

The beer & cider are flowing, with delicious food from Chop Shop, Sam’s Thai, and a wide range of favourites from the Red Lion kitchen. 🍔🍜🍻

What better way to spend a Tuesday night? Come along, grab a drink, enjoy some great food and settle in for a fantastic evening of live music.

Histon Beer Festival is now in full swing, 61 ales, 20 ciders, amazing food and live music every night. Just a short bus trip from Cambridge. We are here till Saturday making us the UK’s only 7 day traditional real ale festival.

It was great to see 3 generations of Salmons down at the festival, getting our sponsors to tap a barrel is always fun. Lovely to catch up with you. 🍺

Final day of setup and we’re nearly there! 💪

61 beers. 20 ciders. All safely on the racking and ready to go.

Just the barrels to tap… and then we’re OPEN Monday from noon! 🎉🍺🍏

The hard work is almost done — now it’s time to get the taps flowing!

So, our chairman Don Kelly is organising two tasting events as part of the U3AC summer program. He has a some spaces for those who are interested. It so posh it even has number SP31 and SP32 in the U3AC listings.

Come and join us for a tasting session of 6 beers with an expert beer festival volunteer. We will talk through the beers and what you will be expected to taste. You would then be welcome to stay and enjoy the rest of the day (after 5pm there is an “entry” fee) and purchase your own beers. Parking is not available (as the marquee covers the pub car park) and driving to a beer tasting is not recommended!!!
Cost: £13 on the day, cash or card.
