Calne Bike Meet – Annual General Meeting Notice

Mark your calendars! The Calne Bike Meet AGM will be taking place on Wednesday, 23rd September at 7:00 PM at Calne Town Hall.

Whether you’re a long-time supporter or looking to get involved for the first time, we’d love to see you there. Here is a quick outline of what we’ll be covering on the night:

Last Year’s Minutes: A look back at the key decisions and recap of the previous year.

Reports: Hearing directly from our Chair and Treasurer on our achievements, finances, and event updates.

Committee Transition: The official step-down of the current committee members.

Voting & Elections: Voting in our key committee roles for the upcoming year, including Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.

We Need Your Help: Join the Friends of Calne Bike Meet!

Putting on one of the biggest bike meets in the country takes a community. We are actively looking to expand our Friends of Calne Bike Meet team. These heroes help the committee to not only put on the main event but also the duck race, carnival and other fund raising events.

Give us more or as little as u can without the commitment of being a committee member to help out throughout the year, or lend a hand on the day of the meet itself?

Our core committee relies heavily on the support of volunteers to keep this incredible event safe, vibrant, and running smoothly. If you love the meet and want to ensure its future success, please consider raising your hand—every bit of time makes a huge difference!

Come along to the Town Hall, share your thoughts, and help us steer the future of the meet. See you all on the 23rd!

And just like that.....ALL the tin signs are sold. The last one is making its merry way, all the way, to France. They have gone far and wide around the world. I believe Canada and Australia could be the furthest, let us know below.

🚨We still have a few places available for our Control the Bleed sessions on Thursday 13th August!🚨

With five newly installed bleed control kits across Calne, we've partnered with Bin the Blade to deliver Control the Bleed training sessions at Colemans Farm Community Centre.

These free sessions will teach you simple, practical skills that could help save a life by controlling severe bleeding until emergency services arrive.

Whether you're a member of the public, a parent, coach, volunteer or local business owner, this hands-on training will give you the confidence to respond in a bleeding emergency when every second counts.
