Bike trip I'm going on an adventure! :) Just with my bike and basic stuff in panniers. Fancy joining me? :)

Rack up miles on road as well as bounce into the wild, discover hidden places, scramble hills, watch stars, speak with locals, drink water from streams, travel on ferries, spend nights in abandoned bothies, cook on stove, face to the scottish weather..

Day 5; Reaching the north! Taking a passenger ferry boat to get over the Kyle of Durness. Last few hilly miles and then here we are! Made it to the Cape Wrath lighthouse, the most north-westerly point of the UK! :)

Completely run out time.. Desperately asked for any advise in Lochinver visitors centre and came across amazing Mary! She recommended me train connections to get me closer to Callender (200 miles far ish, haha) where I was supposed to meet my friend next day. Also gave my bike and I lift to the next "bothy" - horror place called The Schoolhouse.. :/ Bad choice and sleepless night alone in the middle of nowhere..

Back to the civilisation. And another proof that hybrid with adjustable front suspension is just the best ;)

Night in Suileag bothy, alone.. Without any wood to burn, just some dry heather that didn't last for a long time. Attempt to use peat failed and I was getting scared. Noises coming from silent, covered by dark may drive one mad..
