Our events are temporarily on pause whilst we get our LEGO ®-themed Cafe in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk up and ready to go!

250+ sets to build and plenty of loose bricks to unleash your creativity on – we cant wait to welcome you to Meet Play Build.

It’s been a busy few days at bricks and bites!

We’re so grateful for the support we’ve had from all of you coming in to meet, build, & play (see what I did there?!)

It’s been an absolute blast seeing so many happy builders, so many LEGO sets built, so many chats with people coming to check out the space. And so much coffee! ☕️

Hectic, but in the best possible way!

We’ve another busy day today - we’ll always try to seat walk-ins but if you are planning a visit today it’s a bit quieter in the afternoon ❤️

We’re nearly ready to open! Thanks to the talented for some gorgeous pictures of the cafe ❤️

Thanks as well to everyone popping in this weekend after a lovely bit of local press! So excited and happy to be opening next week - we can’t wait to build some with you all!

Things are starting to take shape at our little cafe! And most importantly there’s a Halloween display brewing 🎃

I have never been as busy in my life as I am right now…

2 kids. School starting. New pre school for littlest. Busy time at the day job.

Oh, and the small matter of fully redecorating and transforming 24b Angel Hill to become Suffolk’s first LEGO®-themed cafe!

Apologies for not posting - though in about 5 weeks time, we can’t wait to show you all why!!

Coming soon…

If it fits, he sits!

Yes, that is my 3 year old showing utter disregard for the organisation of the LEGO sets and having a little sit down on them 🤓

Next one and last one for the summer:

📅 Saturday 29th August, 10.30am
📍 Kennett Village Hall

Everyone welcome! Under 4’s go free.

DM or link in bio to book.

Notes on a working summer…

Whatever your summer looks like, if you’re under pressure to entertain, or missing the routine of school, or riding the childcare carousel - mum guilt can 100% get in the bin. We’re trying our best and kids remember happy, not perfect ❤️

19/08/2026

We’re about two weeks to go before the end of the summer holidays, and once again we’ve built an inordinate amount of LEGO … !

This time last year we were prepping for our first event, and I had no idea what was in store. 1 year on, I’m feeling pretty proud about what we’ve built.

I also had storage space in my house! Alas, that is no longer true 🤣

09/08/2026

New sets available for our next event on Thursday 13th August at PlayCafe!

First come first served - only one actually has the smart brick (Training House with Pikachu) so message me if you want to reserve it 😎
