This Pride Month, we celebrate LGBTQ+ voices, stories, and lives.

Pride is a celebration of authenticity, community, and the simple truth that everyone deserves to love and be loved without fear, shame, or compromise.
We honour those who have helped create a more inclusive world, and we remain committed to a future where every person can live openly, safely, and with pride.

At Bury Lit Fest 📚, we celebrate LGBTQ+ voices not only during Pride Month, but all year round, as we continue building a programme where everyone can belong, thrive, and be themselves.

This year’s festival brings a rich mix of stories, genres, and authors, including six events featuring LGBTQ+ writers and stories alongside a vibrant programme for all ages.

We’re especially excited to launch the festival later this month with bestselling author , who will be discussing his new novel LOVE LANE with our brilliant a Artistic Director — a moving story of family, secrets, and the meaning of home.
