Hi just wanted to let you know that for reasons beyond our control we have had to find replacement judges we will let you know who these are shortly. We would also like to clarify about oasis in the floral displays the R.H.S. has banned it's use at their shows along with regional show organisers, however we have now a different judge for flowers and plants and he is quite willing to judge entries that have used oasis so it's up to the individual now as to whether they use it. Also in the brochure the onion categories don't state whether they should be dressed or not it is preferable that they are. sorry for any misunderstanding. Judith Greaves

We will be having a Flower Show meeting down at the Town Hall on Wednesday the 16th July at 6-30 pm all welcome. Use side door nearest main road on A1 side need to ring door bell (community room.) We will be making the final arrangements for the show, making sure we have everything in place. Brochures are now with us and have been delivered to the outlets. Your support is very welcome.

we just wanted to let you know that The Bonsai Man will again be bringing his fantastic display for us this year. Really grateful for the hard work he puts in. A really good display it's worth paying the £1 admission just to see this.

We are expecting to have the brochures out for the 5th July. collections can be made at Speak's Butchers, Padiham and Read, The Picture House, 4-8 Burnley Road Padiham, Huntroyd Garden centre, Padiham. A1 motors, Padiham or send us an e-mail [email protected] Sadly we no longer have the Hardware Store as Eric and Carol have retired but many thanks to them for all the support they gave us. Judith

On Wednesday 26th March 6:30 pm the first meeting for the 2025 Flower Show is being held at Padiham Town Hall. All welcome.

Please use the front side door to gain entry.

If anyone has any suggestions what they would like to see in the 2025 flower show please put your idea's forward. The show is booked for the 1st Saturday in September, The committee are also thinking of having a plant sale earlier on in the year hoping for the same day that Padiham painting is on. Its the 17th of May. We would like to raise funds for the flower show as the bank is now charging us banking fee's which will cost us £50 a year which is quite a chunk out of our funds and we don't want to put admission prices up. We have shopped around but it seems like all banks are doing this. If anyone can forward plan and maybe donate plants for the sale please let us know we would like 100 people to donate 10 plants each So when you are planting your seeds later on please think of us. A big thank you to everyone who supported us by entering, supporting set up, visiting and donating and all other support from so many people. It's been a bit of a tough year for many of those growing exhibits too but the quality was excellent, as was all entries in all categories. We have had some excellent exhibits again this year.
