Last year was the first time we ran a Garage Sale Trail, and we saw lots of houses signed up all over the village like a giant distributed boot sale . This year the Trail is back, on Sunday the 30th August.
Sign up your address to have a garage sale outside your house. Throughout festival week, we will publicise a map of the village with all the houses that have signed up so visitors to the village on Sunday can know where to find the bargains !

The Burley Summer Festival Trail runs from Friday the 21st August to Sunday the 30th this year. The theme, as chosen by visitors to the trail last year, is the 90s. There should be lots of great things you can choose for your scarecrow including many great films that came out in the 90s, and your scarecrow can be as simple or as complicated as you want.

Any household in the village can sign-up to have their house included in the trail.

Every year the Burley Summer Festival organises a big day of activities in the village including the Car Show, Food and Drink Market, Craft Fair and Music in Grange Park. If you are involved in a Community Organisation then you can register to have a stall in the Grange Park right at the centre of all this activity to get your message out there and raise awareness on Sunday the 23rd August.

Is anyone in the village interested in organising and running a Health and Wellbeing Event as part of Burley Summer Festival ? Date: Sunday 23rd August.
In the past we have had a selection of complementary therapists, representatives from Grange Park Surgery and local support groups or charities. Crystals etc.

We like to aim to get at least 100 Scarecrows each year, although this has sometimes fallen short. Don't worry that your scarecrow idea isn't too good, or needs too much time. All entries are welcome, and add to the success of the trail all over the village !
