FREE FUN FOR BURGESS HILL YOUNG THIS EASTER
From sports tasters to craft sessions, over the Easter school holiday, there are activities to interest every child!
EASTER TOWN TRAIL
Monday 30th March – Thursday 2nd April
Tuesday 7th – Friday 10th April,
Come and help Bramble find his lost Easter bonnet supplies around the town centre.
Participants then return their completed map to the Help Point, where every child will receive a book. Each completed form will also be entered into a prize draw, to win an Easter egg and soft toy!
MEGA MOVE IT MONDAY!
Working with Worthing Thunder, The Triangle, Encore Tennis and Peter Thomas Coaching, children can learn new skills from qualified coaches at Basketball. Pickleball, Tennis and Hockey sessions.
Taking place at various location and times on Monday 30th March, they are aimed at ages 5-14, and are designed as a fun introduction to the sports. No booking is required but a waiver must be completed ahead of attending.
FAMILY FUN SESSIONS
Exclusively for families of children & young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), the sessions return to The King’s Church on Tuesday 31st March.
Running at 12.30pm and 2.30pm, where there will be a range of activities for all ages, as well as services to offer information and support to families. It is free to attend, but places must be booked in advance.
EASTER BONNET MAKING AND PARADE
Creative bonnet making workshop at The Hub* on Wednesday 1st April, with Burgess Hill Creative Community. *Details at the Help Point.
After crafting their bonnets, participants will parade their creations around the town centre and show off their hard work!
Sessions will be held at 10am, 11am and 12pm, with booking essential from 18th March.
ROCK UP AND RIDE
Get ready for free coaching at the BMX Track on Thursday 9th April.
Whether you are new to the track or want some help to progress their skills, coach Niki will be on hand! DJ Matt will be spinning tunes throughout the day and Jay’s Paint Shop will be offering graffiti style art.
The event will run 10.30am-4pm, with the free coaching sessions at 10.30am and 1pm. Coaching must be booked in advance.
