🌟 VOLUNTEER SHOUTOUT 🌟
It’s still an absolute blur, but before I share anything else, I need to shout out the incredible volunteers that made Beecraigs BYU truly special.
Events like this can’t happen without volunteers, but what has filled me with so much love is the amount of messages the runners have sent saying how incredible you all were!! You’re not only giving up your time, but you are bringing so much energy, even while working through the night, you still found a way to put others first and make a difference 💫
An event like this needs many different roles, from route signage, marshals, registration, social media, issuing medals, car park management, course sweeping, traffic management, food and drink support, loo roll restock, litter picking, and of course the big set up and clean down. It’s a lot!! And you all did it with the biggest smiles and I could feel the joy and friendships being formed. Thank you again, so much. ❤️
What made it all work like clockwork was the volunteer DREAM TEAM! all stepped up to lead a group and made sure everyone was ok, knew where they needed to be, and jumped in wherever was needed. The time these guys put in even before the event was incredible. I can’t thank you enough. Special thanks to who took the overall coordination of the whole group and I felt like I didn’t need to think at all because he had everything under control and I could just focus on everything else. He even went above and beyond and made wee up wee goodie bags for all the volunteers ❤️
Thank you all again so much. I hope I can repay the favour one day 🥰
