There’s nothing quite like visiting a beautiful garden for a burst of inspiration 🌿🌷

So many gardens are open to the public, and each one has its own unique charm. From peaceful, structured spaces to wild, free-flowing planting. Every visit brings new ideas and fresh perspective.

What makes them even more special is the variety. Larger gardens often showcase a wide range of plant combinations, thoughtfully arranged across different zones - whether it’s shade-loving corners, sunny borders, or themed planting styles.

It makes it so much easier to picture what could work in your own space and find the perfect plants to fill those tricky gaps 🌱

Next time you visit a garden, take it all in… you never know what ideas you’ll bring home with you 💙

I’ve had a fabulous day today at The Palace in Chester, at an event for 💚

Sunshine, a glass of something bubbly, and the chance to meet so many lovely people - but most importantly, hearing more about the incredible work the charity and hospital team do.

I even treated myself to a limited edition ‘Twilly’ designed by the wonderful .emma such a gorgeous design, which I’ll wear proudly 💚

Thank you Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, for a fantastic day!

Here’s a few of my doodles to mark World Art Day 🎨.

Today we celebrate creativity in all its forms — the bold, the messy, the meaningful, and everything in between. Art has the power to inspire, connect, and tell stories words sometimes can’t.

Whether you’re painting, drawing, designing, dancing, or simply appreciating someone else’s work, take a moment to embrace creativity today.

What does art mean to you? 🖌️

Not usually my favourite shrub… but I have to admit, it absolutely shines this time of year ❤️

Happy National Gardening Day 🌱

There’s something magical about getting your hands in the soil, watching tiny seeds turn into something beautiful, and creating a space that feels alive.

Whether you’re planting flowers, growing your own veggies, or just soaking up some sunshine in your garden, today’s the perfect excuse to connect with nature.

Take a moment to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and appreciate the little things growing around you 🌼

What are you planting this season? I’m waiting for Delphinium seeds to start showing 🤞😊🌿💚

Softening the hard bits 🌿

I’m a big believer in avoiding the “concrete jungle” effect.

Yes, hard landscaping gives us structure and practicality - but without a touch of green, it can feel cold and lifeless. The magic happens when you soften those edges.

Think gravelled areas dotted with planting, raised beds instead of stark walls, or climbers bringing fences and bare surfaces to life. Even the smallest splash of greenery can completely shift the mood—making your space feel warmer, more inviting, and full of life.

Next time you step into your garden, take a moment and ask yourself: Where could I add a little softness?

It’s coming alive out there in the garden 🌱

Every walk to the office brings something new.
Shoots that weren’t there yesterday, buds opening, quiet little reminders that things are always growing.

Didn’t expect this daily moment of surprise to become one of the favourite parts of my day 🌿
