Joe Pointon Festival Founder – started making his own organic Cider; “Pointons Cider” in 2011…. The 2012 Festival was the result of having too much cider for one man to drink…. The Witcombe Cider Festival was born from a suggestion to have a party.
The event has grown to become a firm fixture on the music festival calendar. With 10,000 attendees over August Bank Holiday Weekend, 50 Ciders and national artists. Ella Eyre, Sigma, Example, Wiley, Lethal Bizzle, Judge Jules, Artful Dodger, Tinchy Strider and Heather Small have all headlined …
In 2018 the festival moved to its new home on Brockworth Rd, Brockworth, Gloucester. A site with a much bigger capacity and scope for future growth.
