Artist Mark Stopforth led our 'Skyscapes in Oils' workshop last weekend, using such interesting techniques to create work at such a pace that this was by far our most productive 1 day workshop to date. Some artists created 8 pieces in 5 hours!
Stunning results and very happy artists.

Gareth Jones Art delivered the first of his 2 pastel seascapes workshops on Friday.
Many participating artists were totally new to soft pastels and some were well and truly converted thanks to Gareth's passion for the medium and excellent teaching!

He'll be back from Wales again on the 31st to run the next...

We enjoyed a site visit to the stunning Sezincote House and gardens yesterday, in preparation for the en plein air workshop led by Tushar Sabale Art on June 5th.

Surrounded by 3,500 acres of rolling Cotswold countryside stands a 200-year-old Mogul Indian palace, set in a romantic landscape of temples, grottoes, waterfalls and canals reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. Sezincote is the only Mughal building surviving in Western Europe.

Such a fascinating place in beautiful grounds and so many interesting vistas and scenes to paint.

The workshop is sold out, however you can ask to be placed on the waiting list by emailing [email protected] as we often get returns.
