This is Kiki Case, who helps shape the Festival's Kitchen Theatre programme, working with her network to bring leading Kent chefs, producers and experts to Broadstairs for live demonstrations and conversations.

One of the workshops at the Easter Festival was for members of the public to take part in a community art project, Tiles of Joy.

Working with Jayne Wright of Jaw Ceramics CIC and sponsored by the Festival, 60 people made their own tiles, with a theme of Broadstairs, Thanet, Food and what they enjoy doing.

The first set has now been fired. Once they have all gone thru the kiln, they will be installed at The Old Curiosity Shop in Broadstairs.

What a weekend! Sunshine, smiles, and seriously good food!

The Broadstairs Food Festival once again brought together an incredible mix of community, traders and visitors, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere across the town. It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying everything the festival has to offer.

Following an incredible 14 years under the leadership of Jo Scott, the festival now enters an exciting new chapter. There is so much to celebrate and even more to look forward to.

THANK YOU!!
It has been a blast!
As you may have read..I am stepping back from my role as Broadstairs Food Festival Event Director.
Over the years we have weathered blizzards, storms, unseasonal hot weather in Autumn and equally unseasonably cold at Easter. We worked around the nightmare of the pandemic and came back fighting with 2 Festivals a year.
NONE of this could have been achieved without the support and encouragement of the board of directors and brilliant team of volunteers.
You have given me so much assistance over the past 17 years .... your time..your enthusiasm..and your energy
All of which has been given freely and without recompense.
So, as I step down, all I can say is how much I have enjoyed working with you and offer my deepest appreciation and thanks.
