We are very pleased to announce that we have the piano girl Chloe Marie Aston playing the piano and singing on her bike at various parts of the Steam Fair site during the show.
If you haven't heard her sing, you're in for a treat!!

****Our next Fairground Ride****

We are pleased to welcome back the Big Wheel this year. Owned by Arthur Peake and family. Bought from Herberts in 1980, built by Eli Bridge in 1956.
The Wheel brings a fantastic light show to the Steam Fair at night.

We are very sad to hear of the recent passing of Stan Moreing, the owner of Interline Building Supplies, who has been our main sponsor for a number of years.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL OUR AMAZING LOCAL & NOT SO LOCAL BUSINESSES!

YOUR STEAM FAIR NEEDS YOU!

The last couple of years have been particularly difficult with spiralling costs and changes to Health & Safety etc and we have been struggling to make ends meet.
So many shows around the South West and other areas have been discontinued for this reason and we are determined not to join that list. We have had amazing support from many of you guys over the years but we need to call on all of you to help us keep this wonderful event going especially as this year is going to be our 🎉🎊 40th ANNIVERSARY SHOW!! 🎊🎉 We remain one of the largest outdoor events in the South West and the whole show is organised, set up and run purely by Volunteers!!
So, let's try and make this the biggest and best ever Steam Fair and we will hopefully take it forward for many more years!

****GREAT NEWS****

Just over 3 months to our 40th Anniversary Steam Fair. One of the main features of the show will almost certainly be the largest Old Tyme Fair at any Rally, West of the Dorset Steam Fair, with a number of the rides driven by steam. We will announce the rides one at a time.
The first one is the 1934 Orton and Spooner Speedway Ark A163 new to William Noble. The Ark has just been rebuilt by Littleboy's.
Now owned by Terry Sleeman It is very likely it's first ever visit to Devon. It will be driven by one of his Showmans engines.

After checking records and thanks to one of our contributors the Speedway attended the 40th Great Dorset Steam Fairs special vintage fair. Our Vintage Fair will be very much of that order. 😁
