Welcome to the Bristol School of Performing Arts, With over 40 years experience it is the largest and most successful of its kind in the West Country. The school covers all aspects of Theatre and Television training, employing without doubt the largest and most varied pool of talented tutors, many of whom are industry professionals. Because of its size and the high regard in which it is held by al

l the major agencies and producing managements, the School is able to boast a veritable 'Who's who' amongst its seemingly never-ending list of professional productions both in theatre and television. Don’t be fooled by those who claim to ‘teach’ talent. If you have that gift BSP Arts is the school for you. BSPA often puts children forward for auditions in theatre and TV productions. These are organised privately via the Director of the School. Please note that if we publish info about auditions for roles via Facebook, BSPA is not responsible for these auditions or these casting organisations - we are just sharing information which may be of interest to our students.

Wishing everyone a fabulous opening night on A CHORUS LINE Introducing our very own incredibly talented BSPA Band .. We are delighted to introduce the new Patron of The Bristol School of Performing Arts, Mr Darren Maddison.

Darren is the founder of Polka Dot Pantomimes, a company renowned for producing high-quality professional regional pantomimes across the country. We are incredibly proud that some of our very own students have had the wonderful opportunity to perform in these spectacular productions, alongside our Principal, Amanda Board Salmon.

Formerly an accomplished actor and performer with West End and national touring experience, Darren now oversees multiple productions each year, specialising in immersive, family-friendly theatre that delights audiences of all ages.

Widely regarded as the “King of Panto,” we are extremely honoured and proud to welcome Darren as our Patron at BSPA

A big thankyou to our leading cast of ‘A Chorus Line’ today for coming to our different venue because of a huge water leak disrupting the area of our school at Warmley Community Centre thanks to Lovely Louise who always keeps us informed 🥰
