There are some venues that carry a real sense of occasion, and the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome is one of them.

It’s a space built for energy, intensity and emotion, where every detail contributes to the experience of elite sport. For the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, it will once again take centre stage, hosting Track Cycling and Para Track Cycling, and we’re proud to be supporting it with broadcast lighting and rigging.

This venue holds particular meaning for our team. Having worked here across previous major games and championships, it’s a place that helped shape our understanding of what it takes to deliver lighting and rigging for sport at the highest level.

Returning for 2026 feels less like arriving somewhere new, and more like continuing a story, built on shared experience, long-standing relationships, and a deep respect for both the sport and the space.

Wishing the team behind Under Milk Wood at Theatr Clwyd every success for the run. It’s especially lovely to see the production lit by Josh Pharo, recipient of the Outstanding Year in Theatre award, which we were proud to sponsor at the Profile Awards.

The Tollcross International Swimming Centre is a truly special space, shaped by moments of focus and incredible athletic performance 💫

Purpose-built for elite competition, it balances atmosphere, intimacy and intensity in a way that brings athletes and spectators together, creating something that feels both powerful and personal.

For the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, we’re proud to be supporting Tollcross with broadcast lighting, sports presentation and rigging, helping shape the in-venue experience and the story shared with audiences around the world.

Back at a venue that holds real meaning for our team, supporting a sport where calm, control and concentration define every moment 💛

It’s B Corp Month, and this year’s theme is all about what the B Corp logo really stands for, a commitment to people, planet and continuous improvement.

We want to keep that conversation active, honest and real, so throughout March our Brand & Communications Manager, Myles, is speaking to people across the business about what Living the B looks like in their departments and in day-to-day working life.

First up is our CEO, Alastair Currie, sharing his thoughts on leadership, responsibility and how we keep moving forward as a purpose-led business.

Because being a B Corp is not about standing still. It is about continuing to learn, challenge ourselves and do better.

The Scottish Event Campus is a place of scale and variety, a campus capable of transforming from arena spectacle to intimate sporting theatre, often within the same day!

For the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, the SEC will become a central hub of competition and celebration, hosting events across multiple spaces:

Clyde Auditorium (known locally as The Armadillo): Weightlifting & Para Powerlifting
Hydro: Netball
SEC: Boxing, Judo, Basketball & 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball, Bowls & Para Bowls

Each space brings its own atmosphere and technical demands, from the raw power of weightlifting, to the rigour of judo, the pace of netball.

We’re proud to be supporting the campus with broadcast lighting, sports presentation and rigging, helping create a cohesive experience across one of the most diverse sporting environments in the Games.

What makes the The Scottish Event Campus so special is its ability to hold so many different stories at once, moments of intensity, emotion, triumph and connection - all unfolding side by side.

We’re proud to play our part in bringing those moments together.

Opening day at the YONEX All England Open 2026 🎾

After several days of prep, testing and installation at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, it’s always a special feeling seeing the arena ready for the first match.

We’ve supported this championship for many years now, delivering the full broadcast and sports presentation lighting across all four courts. That history means we understand the detail, the pace and the standard required for a tournament of this level.

Our bespoke sports broadcast lighting system forms the backbone of the production, ensuring consistency for viewers at home while shaping the atmosphere inside the arena.

As the week builds towards finals weekend, we introduce additional lighting elements to heighten the sense of occasion and celebrate the athletes who have earned their place on that stage. The sport always comes first. Our role is simply to frame the moment.

Proud of the team effort behind the scenes and excited to watch the week unfold.

Few venues capture the scale, energy and anticipation of major competition quite like Scotstoun Stadium.

In 2026, it will play host to Athletics and Para Athletics at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, disciplines defined by speed, strength and rhythm, where performances unfold in seconds and leave lasting impact.

We’re proud to be supporting Scotstoun with broadcast lighting and rigging, helping shape an environment that brings clarity, focus and drama to every race, jump and throw. From the intensity on the track to the stories shared with audiences around the world, every detail plays a part in how these moments are experienced.

Athletics demands absolute precision, both from the athletes and the technology supporting them. Our role is to help create the conditions where performance and storytelling align, ensuring the sport takes centre stage.

Sam Stacey, part of our 25/26 Lighting Programme cohort and currently studying at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, recently completed his final-year lighting design project for A Christmas Carol at the Redgrave Theatre.

The production combined traditional storytelling with contemporary staging, puppetry, atmospherics and live sound, demanding a design that could move confidently between intimacy and spectacle.

Through the Lighting Programme, Sam was able to extend beyond the venue’s in-house rig and work with a broader range of professional fixtures, shaping a design that balanced light, shadow and music while responding to the realities of a live schedule.

Like most real productions, it came with pressure, tight build times and unexpected challenges.

Uncanny: Fear of the Dark is currently touring the UK, bringing new real-life cases and witness accounts to the stage in a show built on tension, storytelling and atmosphere.

We’re supporting the tour with lighting, effects, control, rigging and cable packages, working closely with Lighting Designer Elliot Griggs.

Touring theatre rarely repeats itself. Different stages, different setups, different pressures each day. What matters is having systems that are properly prepared and a team who understands how theatre actually runs.

For many years, we’ve supported the Birmingham International Military Tattoo at bp pulse LIVE, delivering the lighting design alongside the full lighting and audio systems behind the show.

Arena productions of this scale demand clarity and control. Massed bands, live music, precision formations and ceremonial moments all share the same space, and every section needs to land with intention.

By designing the lighting and delivering the full technical infrastructure, we’re able to keep the creative vision and the physical systems fully aligned. That joined-up approach is what allows the production to evolve each year while remaining robust in a live arena environment.

Huge thanks to the Birmingham International Tattoo photography team for capturing the scale and atmosphere so brilliantly 📸

Last week we supported the Screen Industries Meetup with Bristol Creative Industries, hosted at Nine Tree Studios.

With 200 people through the doors, the room was full of filmmakers, freelancers and producers sharing honest insight on how projects are being made right now, from self-funded work to alternative routes to finance and portfolio careers.

As headline sponsor, we delivered the technical production for the evening, helping shape a space where speakers could be heard clearly and conversations could flow easily.

We’ve recently joined Bristol Creative Industries, and evenings like this are exactly why, practical support, open dialogue, and a creative community backing itself.

There’s something uniquely powerful about lighting a moving story 🚂✨

For Steamlights at Bluebell Railway, this isn’t just a lit steam train it’s theatre in motion. Rooted in our theatrical heritage, the journey is designed like a moving stage. Carefully timed train lighting, atmospheric lineside installations and a continuous audio story work together to guide focus, shape moments and immerse audiences as the landscape unfolds around them.

As the train travels, the lighting subtly shifts, intentionally stepping back for key lineside scenes before gently returning, keeping the experience seamless and never leaving passengers in darkness. It’s a quiet cue, designed to support the story without ever stealing the spotlight.
