Detroitborn DJ, producer MK [Marc Kinchen]. He’s been shaping house music for over three decades. Emerging from Detroit’s early techno scene, Kinchen developed a signature sound built around deep house, soulful vocals, chopped up samples and driving club rhythms.

His return to the dancefloor in the 2010s brought a new generation of fans, with Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’ reaching Number 1 in the UK, followed by platinum records including ‘17’, ‘Piece Of Me’ and ‘Back & Forth’. Alongside his own productions, MK has continued to make his mark behind the decks, taking his signature house sound to clubs and festivals worldwide.

A true link between Detroit’s house and techno heritage and the modern dancefloor.

From his seminal KDJ releases to a catalogue that has become essential to the Detroit sound, Moodymann remains one of the scene’s most enigmatic and revered figures.
