As a ‘world view’ humanism is not directly political - but what does that mean? Is it desirable or even possible to be apolitical? What do we mean by being, or not being,

We’re moving!

Our regular monthly events will be hosted at a new location in central Bristol, the event/meeting space at Bristol YHA.

The address is: Bristol Youth Hostel, 14 Narrow Quay, Bristol BS1 4QA.

It’s a short walk from the Centre and Prince Street, where most buses stop. There are cycle racks just opposite and a car park 5 minutes walk, on The Grove.

How to find it:

Look for the The Grain Barge building sign (see picture). It’s nextdoor to the The Architect Bar and the Arnolfini Arts Centre.

We may use different venues occasionally so please do always check the details in the event information.

Today we remember these beautiful words by our member Jo Cox, who was murdered on this day in 2016 by a far-right extremist.

Her positive, optimistic, and caring approach to life and politics had already inspired so many.

Her legacy lives on, including through the Jo Cox Foundation. She is sorely, sorely missed.

We remember Jo Cox ❤️
