Hundreds of venues, hundreds of performers, one city.2022 is our Pilot year! Bristol Fringe Festival 2022 is in its pilot year! We want to help showcase the amazing talent the west has and pivot our wonderful venues to increase tourism and repeat custom, during a time when venues are quiet and trade dips. Things to celebrate:
Comedy, spoken word and theatre, burlesque, circus, cabaret, magic, perf
orming arts as well as the diverse and wonderful spaces Bristol has to offer. We want to promote all the amazing events that are happening throughout July and launch them together as a Fringe Festival in one program and map of venues. We also aim to help connect venues all over the city to performers and events they may never have tried before, providing additional paid gigs for performers at no cost to the venue. As time and budget is tight this year we will be assisting with marketing existing events which venues have programmed as well as creating additional events during quieter slots. Bristol Fringe Festival is a collaborative project between Loud and Funny CIC, BARBI and Cloak Room CIC (Cloak and Dagger). How does it work? If you have performing arts events already happening in your venues like those listed above, simply add as a co-host and we'll add it to the program. If you have dates available in your venue and would like assistance please get in touch-prioritise dates/times which are the quietest in your venue. PLEASE NOTE, we have 193 venues already signed up so we may open submissions to register again for next year. If you are a performer/promoter and would like to be booked for Fringe events, complete the survey and we'll aim to match you to a venue. How do Payments work? If a venue has already booked in an event, we will assist to promote it an no cost. If we assist a venue by booking an event for them we will pay the performers from ticket sales (as well as a flat fee)
