Back in the Woods are a promotions company run by musicians for musicians. We aim to deliver bespoke live shows, with an artist centric approach. This year Back in the Woods are proud to be curating three days of our favourite acts for the Alternative Escape at Cafe Plenty. We currently host monthly showcases at Patterns and Cafe Plenty throughout the year. If you're looking to run a special event and require PA hire, promotion or sound technians, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Brighton’s best q***r chamber pop band return to the The Folklore Rooms for a special headlining show. Intricate lyrics weave between soaring strings and busts of acoustic pop punk.

Support from electronic folk band Night House hot off the heels of their new synth pop hot “a Wave that meets the sky”.

Well well well, After losing a venue and scrambling around, we managed to do a split venue Alt Alt Escape, which was a butt load of extra work, but hot damn are we happy!

We couldn’t be more chuffed with our line up and we want to thank every single artist who played for us, and brought all the magic. We are so over joyed to have closed the show with - who we fell in love with over the summer of 2025. We’re still floating on a high from that.

We also can’t thank enough all the people who helped us over the weekend, we couldn’t have done it without ya! We’ve rested for one day and now we’re already excited for next year.

As we were unable to run a bar at our Friday Fishing Museum showcase, we have barely managed to scrape even this year. If you had a good time and would like to donate there is a donation link in our bio :)
