Applications are now open via the website for all upcoming events.

Our next fair at Middle Farm is now fully booked, but we have opened a waiting list due to continued demand.

Almost at full capacity, with jewellery applications now closed.

Our autumn and winter fairs have only just launched, but applications are already coming in rapidly. If you'd like to take part, we strongly recommend applying early.

We’ve chosen to open applications earlier this year so we can spend more time focusing on curating and developing each event — making every fair the best experience possible for both makers and visitors.

We can arrange payment plans for those who are accepted into multiple fairs. Please just ask.

Exciting! The Maker’s Fair is returning to Brighton… at

Join us at Stanmer Park this 4–5 July for a two-day makers festival celebrating craftspeople and handmade design. Expect a curated selection of makers stalls, live demonstrations, face painting, live music and delicious food pop-ups throughout the weekend.

You can also vote for your favourite maker for the chance to win a handmade piece worth up to £100 from our last event of the year — more details on this to follow.

Make a full day of it and explore the beautiful grounds of One Garden, including the stunning Jubilee Greenhouse butterfly garden. A perfect summer day out filled with shopping, creativity, nature and beautifully made work from talented independent makers.

The next big date in our calendar…
The Summer Solstice Maker’s Fair at 20-21 June 10-4.

We’re delighted to be partnering with , coordinated by , for a week of events and exhibitions celebrating Sussex craftspeople and creative practice.

We’re especially excited to be hosting our very first fair at Middle Farm in West Firle. Expect 30 carefully curated exhibitors showcasing beautifully handmade work — from slow fashion and ceramics to glass, jewellery and homewares.

Come and meet our wonderful makers, watch live demonstrations, and browse thoughtfully made pieces in the beautiful surroundings of the farm. The cider barn, café and farm shop will all be open throughout the day, with face painting, a local skiffle band and plenty more to enjoy.

This year we’re introducing the Visitor Choice Award across The Maker’s Fair events.

Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite maker at each fair throughout the year starting this weekend at Standen House (15-17 May) Visitors can scan the QR code displayed at each event to submit their vote!

At the end of the year, the maker with the highest number of votes across the season will receive a complimentary place at 3 Makers Fair events in 2027. Winners will be announced on Sunday 6th Dec.

Visitors who opt into our mailing list when voting will also be entered into our annual prize draw to win a handmade piece from one of our exhibiting makers, worth up to £100, selected by The Maker's Fair founder

We’re so excited to be returning to the beautiful Standen House & Gardens this May for three days of handmade wares, craft and demonstrations.

Set within this stunning Arts & Crafts home and gardens, you’ll discover a vibrant showcase of talented independent makers, artists and designers, all selling beautifully handmade wares – from ceramics and jewellery to textiles, homeware, and more.

Come and wander, be inspired, and support small creative businesses in one of Sussex’s most special settings.
