5 Island Walks in 5 days. 241 miles in total.

Kalem is taking on an incredible personal challenge this May half term, walking 48.2 miles every day for 5 days to raise money for Mind Jersey and Jersey Cancer Relief.

He has already raised over £2,400, passing his original target, and every extra donation will help support two brilliant local charities.

It is a huge physical effort, but also a powerful way to support two local charities helping islanders through some of life’s toughest moments.

His JerseyGiving page gives supporters one simple place to read his story, follow the challenge and donate.
That is what good fundraising technology should do.
Make the story easy to share.
Make donations simple.
Help local causes get the support they deserve.

Well done Kalem, an amazing challenge for two Jersey charities.

A huge good luck to The Aperia ARK, who are taking on the mozart 100 by UTMB in Austria on 23 May in support of Freeda Jersey.

With a serious challenge ahead, including plenty of distance, elevation and a few last-minute nerves, they are raising funds for a brilliant Jersey charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse.

With every donation helping FREEDA continue its vital work across the island.

You can support them through JerseyGiving.

Hackney Half 2026 is already making an impact.

Taking place as part of Hackney Moves on Sunday 17 May, the Hackney Half brings runners through 21.1km of closed roads, live music, big crowds and a festival finish at Hackney Marshes.

Fundraisers are using the event to support Q***r Running Club CIC, helping create safe, sober and inclusive spaces for q***r and trans people to run together.

With over £5,000 already raised through Sports Giving, it’s brilliant to see this community coming together ahead of one of London’s standout running weekends.

This Sunday, the NowWhat & TeamJobs teams will be joining The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, taking to the road in support of Movember.

The event raises vital awareness and funds for men’s health, including prostate cancer and mental health support, while bringing people together for a standout global event.

Great to see another challenge being supported through Sports Giving.

Wishing the team a brilliant ride. To support them, find the link in the first comment.

Well done, Will 👏

A huge achievement from Will Crawford, who completed both the Hospice Half Marathon and a full marathon with his mouth taped shut, using nasal breathing throughout.

Taking on the challenge in support of ADHD Jersey, Channel Islands, Will has helped raise funds and awareness while sharing a powerful message around focus, mental wellbeing and the impact of functional breathwork.

An incredible effort and a brilliant example of how personal challenges can make a real difference.

Good luck to Shane Wridgway as he takes on an incredible 51-day challenge in support of ADHD Jersey, Channel Islands through Sports Giving.

Starting today (May 1st), Shane will complete 50 half marathons in 50 days, before finishing with the 48-mile Island Walk on day 51.

Chasing Dopamine – One Step at a Time is a brilliant challenge with a powerful message behind it.

Wishing Shane all the very best as he gets underway.

Good luck to everyone taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon this weekend.

It is great to see so many people using JerseyGiving to support charities and causes that matter to them ahead of race day. Fundraisers are running in aid of a range of important charities, showing the real impact event fundraising can have beyond the finish line.

There is a link in the comments to the Jersey Heart Support Group fundraising page, where you can support a wider group of people running and fundraising as part of the event.

Wishing every runner the very best for race day. Enjoy the atmosphere, have a brilliant run and thank you for raising money for such important causes. 💙

This is what modern community fundraising looks like.

With White Collar Darts 2026 happening this Saturday, JerseyGiving is showing how one event can support multiple charities across Jersey through one connected fundraising platform. Individual fundraising pages give participants space to tell their story, supporters get a simple donation journey, and organisers get the tools to manage it all in one place.

With more than £21k already raised for local causes including Jersey Employment Trust, Parkinson's UK - Jersey Branch and Dementia Jersey, it is a strong example of how the JerseyGiving & Sports Giving fundraising platforms can help events deliver greater local impact.

There is still time to show your support by following the first link in the comments.

Powered by Sports Giving and RaceNation HQ, Hospice 2 Hospice Half Marathon 2026 is already making a huge impact ahead of this Sunday 22 March.
With £17k+ already raised for Jersey Hospice Care, it’s a strong example of how event tech and fundraising can work together to deliver real results. And with the event just around the corner, there is still time to support the cause and donate.

Every mile matters.

Every donation counts, link in the first comment.
