Be gentle with the earth...

Ovingdean Green Festival 2020 is a volunteer led community event celebrating all things eco and sustainable. Centred on the conservation area of the historic downland village of Ovingdean and just three miles East along the coast from Brighton city centre, the event is set for the Saturday 27th June 2020. This, the third green event in Ovingdean, will host a packed schedule of thought provoking talks by experts through which the ‘environment’ is a running theme, stalls featuring local crafts, ‘green’ products and displays of sympathetic organisations, a fun family dog show, as well as tempting food and drink concessions and an eclectic musical line-up.

The organisers, Ovingdean Resident’s & Preservation Society (ORPS) have adopted the Dalai Lama’s guidance that humanity should ‘Be gentle with the earth’ as a leading principal of the festival.
