And another winner, this time our Best Small trade stand winner, well done to the team from Dorset Wildlife Trust!

🏆 What an achievement at the Melplash Show!

Our fundraisers, working alongside the wider Dorset Wildlife Trust team won the Best Small Trade Show Exhibit award from The Melplash Agricultural Society ! 🌿

A lovely reward for all the work that went into the stand and a fantastic result for everyone involved.

Congratulations to the team at TICKETsrv , who were awarded our Best Show Contractor this year 🏆

A proud moment for TICKETsrv at The Melplash Agricultural Society as Richard Jones received the Don Townsend Memorial Trophy, awarded to the Best Show Contractor and generously presented by Edward W Danter's Fun Fair.

The award was presented by Edward Danter and his daughter at Melplash Show, Thursday 27th August.

Congratulations to the winning food & drink producers in our Food Hall. With so many fantastic local companies, it is not an an easy process for our judge but thanks to Julia Colfox for selecting our winners:

1st – Pomme Blushe
A lovely locally sourced product with excellent presentation. The graphics, aprons and stand layout ensured Pomme Blushe stood out from the rest!”

2nd – Farm Girl Sausages
Delicious sausages and a good variety including caramelised onion and pork and leek. All local sourced. A friendly pretty and vibrant stand with lovely customer service. I really loved the yellow bags.. made every purchase standout and look very special”

3rd - Isaac Cider
A diverse selection of ciders and flavours, with excellent use of local apples across cider and vinegar. Friendly service, a great customer experience.

The winning stand was presented with the Sandwich Plate, given by Lady Caroline Sandwich.

⭐️ ⭐️ THANK YOU! ⭐️ ⭐️

What a fabulous show day!

Today, we packed up the final pieces of equipment and signs, litter picked the showground and locked the gates after another successful show!

We can’t thank our amazing team of 200+ volunteers who all come together to make our event so special, the show wouldn’t be what it is without you all.

Our members and sponsors, without your support we wouldn’t have the strong agricultural society we have. We are proud to be a forward thinking and innovative charity with the aim of promoting agriculture, farming, and food production and inspiring our younger generation to learn more and be more involved with these areas.

Our agricultural community who compete with us. What a fantastic display of horses and livestock we had, thanks to each and every one of you for showing your animals and sharing your knowledge with our show visitors.

Our show contractors, you all come together and help turn our green fields into a hub for the day….wifi, power, plumbing and so much more infrastructure needed to make it all work!

Finally, thank you to everyone who visited our show, what a wonderful happy vibe….we will be doing it all again next year, Thursday 26 August 2027!
