The draw for the May/June prizes in the Friends of Halsway Manor 200 Club took place on 17th June 2022. The numbers were again drawn using www.calculator.net/random-number-generator.

Numbers up to 225 were eligible for inclusion with the exception of 10 ‘vacant’ memberships (88, 101, 109, 148, 152, 178, 180, 181, 204, 221). 215 current members were thus eligible to participate, so the top prize was £107.50 (= 215/200 x £100).

Five numbers were drawn, one (181) being an ineligible number. One prize winner donated their winnings to the Manor.



The next draw, for July/August, will take place in early September 2022.

The Club’s and members’ prize donations to the Manor have now totalled £10,244 since September 2014, and £8,937 been given out in prizes in that period.

The club is still able to accept membership applications and anyone wishing to support Halsway Manor in this way may get an application form from the Bridport Ceilidhs website; from Halsway Manor (and its website); from Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Friends-of-Halsway-Manor-200-Club-637198939692632/) or by application to the treasurer.

For February we have the welcome return of Jigfoot, with Dick Williams doing the honours. Not one to miss!

And the next one up was:
Jigs for Gigs with Ray Goodswen. Another fun night, great music from Jigs and a good selection of dances from Ray, some quite complicated, which he successfully steered us through. Once again numbers were sub-optimum at 31 paying customers, which does I'm afraid cast a bit of cloud on the future.
