One of Wales' most glorious and distinctive chapels, 'The Plough' was founded in the very earliest days of Dissent in 1699.

Worshippers first met here at a public house called Plow House from which the present day name derives.

See Bute Voices, Octave Cymru and take part in the hymn singing celebration 'Cymanfa Ganu' here over festival weekend 💫

'Aberhonddu (Brecon) has a river, a canal and boasts a Ship Street. But all is not what it seems...

The river is not navigable this far up, the canal no longer reaches the sea and our Ship Street is in fact...Sheep Street! (Heol y Defaid).

We are truly LANDLOCKED IN BRECKNOCK!' ⚓️ 🌊

Hear them present 'Landlocked in Brecknock' outside the Tap at 4.15pm, the penultimate stop on this centrepiece of Festival Saturday.
