This morning we said goodbye to a lady who loved to sing and ballroom dance, she had beautiful style and grace.
Her daughters read moving tributes and a poem written specially for her.
We shared happy memories of a life well lived as we paid tribute to this beautiful ‘lady in red’. Rest easy lovely lady ❤️❤️ Thank you to Mark of Jill Glencross.

We said an emotional goodbye to a most beloved husband, dad, grandad and friend this afternoon at Carlisle Crematorium. He dedicated his working life to the post office, from boy messenger to executive. He loved his cars, having a sing song with his girls, cheering on his sporting family, spending time with his wife. He was a kind and gentle soul and his absence is profoundly felt. At rest amongst the stars 🩵💙 Thank you to Anne as ever, at Michael Walsh Carlisle

It was definitely an ice-cream kind of day as we said goodbye to a vivacious and joyous lady today. We celebrated her wonderful zest for life, her amazing baking skills, her infectious laughter and the beautiful family she created. The chapel was full, as so many who held her in their affections came to say their farewells. She laughed, she sang she danced. She lived her life well, and enjoyed an ice cream cone. Sing with the angels lovely lady 🩵💙🩵💙 thank you to Dawn of Dawn Evans Funeral directors, as ever.

This morning, from both sides of the globe, family and friends paid tribute to a true gentleman. He travelled far and wide, saw many sights, but always remained a Cumbrian. He could hold a good debate and bowl like a champion, and will always be remembered for his generosity of heart and kindness of soul. I wish you peace gentle man 💙🩵💙 thank you to Scott of

This afternoon we shared memories of an honorary family member who, for many years, was an integral member of a close and loving family.
He was carried with deep love and affection on his final journey and we heard how he endeared himself to young and old alike. He had a humorous and cheeky nature, was strong of spirit, with kindness and generosity aplenty. Rest in peace gentle soul 🩵🩵 Thank you to Anne of Michael Walsh Funeral Directors as ever

This morning we said farewell to a gentleman, proud of his Scottish roots.
He spoke with a soft brogue and cheered on Scotland in rugby tournaments, and teased his England supporting son. He was carried by his son who shared a beautiful and heartfelt tribute which filled the room with emotion.
He was a wonderful man and we hope he flying high with the Saltire in the skies 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Thank you as ever to Scott at Michael Walsh Funeral Directors.
