The Wethersfield Music Festival was first held in September 2014 when it was the idea of 2 people to stage a Music fest and bring some new ideas to the village as well as recreating what fun there used to be whilst also raising money for charity. It's an ideal place for Local singing talent to showcase what they can do in front of a fairly big audience along with bringing the community together wi

th other attractions on the day. It's a free event and that's the way we'd like to keep it for as long as possible, we rely heavily on Sponsorship to make the Festival happen and we thank everyone for their continued support year after year, without you it really wouldn't be possible. It's still in the early stages and we hope to grow bigger and better in years to come because we truly want to 'Rock the Village'

A huge thanks to everyone that came and supported us at this year’s festival on Saturday in our new home! It was a superb day and went better than we could ever expect.

As always we must thank all the acts who gave up their time to entertain the crowd, you all did a great job and the music was awesome. We were in safe hands with FOH LIVE SOUND who did a faultless job in providing the sound for this years festival again.

We also appreciate all the traders who came along on the day to provide Food, Drink and fun for the kids, it went down a storm so thanks for doing your thing.

A final thanks to the village and surrounding villages for embracing it and supporting us, it really means a lot and everything raised on the day will go towards the next one.

It looks like we’ve kick started something special in Cornish Hall End after all our previous years in Wethersfield. We’ll be back and we’re looking forward to what’s to come, whenever that may be!

There’s lots to look forward to at this year’s festival which is just days away!

Saturday 10th August - 2-8pm.

We’ll have drinks provided by both Tipsy Bubbles and Tipsy Wagon - Mobile Bars plus the Horse And Groom Cornish Hall End will be open throughout the day. There will also be Cafe2U UK | Braintree, Essex in attendance with their delicious hot drinks.

A selection of food traders will be on hand to make sure you get your food fix throughout the event, they include Smoke Truck UK, Optio Pizza and some Korean Corndogs! Plus for those who like their sweet treats we’ll have Doughnuts, Candy Floss and Slush as well as Aaron whippy Sudbury who’ll keep you cool with Ice Creams.

Kids will be entertained as well thanks to the great selection of castles and kids attractions on offer from Evo Inflatables.

We hope there will be plenty for you to enjoy across the day and we look forward to seeing you all at this Free to attend event, which we’ve stuck to since day one! There will be buckets around on the day so if you’d like to donate anything to keep the festival going then we always appreciate it.
